The Cap Roux Peak
A 452-metre summit in the volcanic Estérel massif, its red rock clashing vividly with the blue of the Mediterranean below.
The climb, short but steep, crosses low scrubland before opening onto a 360° panorama stretching from Saint-Tropez to Italy on a clear day. The colour of the rock, a volcanic rhyolite, changes almost hour by hour with the light.
