The Old Village of Ramatuelle

A spiral-shaped village on the Saint-Tropez peninsula, between windmills on the ridge and a wild cove reachable only on foot.

A "discreet neighbour" of Saint-Tropez, according to its own residents, Ramatuelle stays overshadowed by its peninsula, even though it stacks up the assets: a medieval village unique in Provence for its spiral layout, the Moulins de Paillas perched on the ridge with a view as far as the Îles d'Or, and above all Cap Taillat, a wild isthmus protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral and inaccessible by car — the exact opposite of the Pampelonne spirit just a few kilometres away.
