A medieval village climbing in concentric rings around its Carolingian keep, one of the oldest castles still standing in France.

The vaulted lanes, sometimes so narrow you can touch both walls at once, lead to the top where the keep offers a view over the Bay of Monaco. A thousand-year-old olive tree, one of the oldest in Europe, stands just below the village.
