Èze, the perched village
A medieval village clinging to a rocky outcrop 400 metres above the sea, with lanes so narrow that some houses touch overhead.
The top of the village, occupied by the Jardin Exotique, offers one of the most dizzying panoramas on the whole Riviera, from Monaco to Cap Ferrat. Early in the morning, before the coaches arrive, the village returns to its stone silence.
